The military tactics of UC and GC are quite similar. For example, they both use roughly the same ships and tactics, allowing players to choose what kind of attack they want. However, Unification War has Recon, Skirmish, and Suicide in place of Enslave, along with a whole host of defensive options that GC players do not have.
